Yankauer Suction Tube is designed to be used during general procedures involving pediatrics due to the narrow handle and smaller pattern. The reason of using this tube is to clean the surgical site, thereby also removing debris or fluids and reducing the chance for infection. The end of the tube contains a removable bulb-shaped tip, and the overall length is 8 ¼."
