Volkmann Retractor is a standard pattern, handheld instrument with a fenestrated handle. It is 8 ¾" in overall length and is available with a variety of curved prongs with sharp or blunt tips. The ideal purpose of this retractor is to divide, or retract, tissue in general surgeries.

Rochester-Ochsner Forceps are hemostats that are helpful for clamping off blood vessels to avoid bleeding during procedures such as orthopedic surgery. In order to clamp vessels or grasp tissue, these forceps have 1x2 teeth on the tip of the serrated jaws. This "rat-tooth" can be described as one point on one end of the jaw that suits amongst two teeth on the end of the other jaw. These teeth can be functional for gripping dense tissue.
